Pharmacies Bring Lawsuits

A group of independent pharmacy owners in the state of Texas has banded together to send a lawsuit to the courts regarding their opposition to planned cuts to the Medicaid program which would force people to use pharmacies that were only part of the state’s sanctioned pharmacies. The independent pharmacies have suggested that if the cuts and changes were to go through that not only would people be forced to use a specific pharmacy but that they wouldn’t be free to choose to use a pharmacy of their choice whether it was an independent pharmacy, a Canada pharmacy or a major chain pharmacy.
